As head of the Epidemiology Department at the Center for Vaccine Development (CVD-Mali), Adama Mamby Keita is committed to developing a thorough understanding of antimicrobial resistance through epidemiological studies.

 Since 2005 he has participated in many epidemiological surveillance, sero-survey and clinical trials (Phase II to phase IV), and worked on vaccines for infectious disease including influenza and meningitis.

He specialises in executing and monitoring epidemiological study and clinical trials in Mali, and in project management, medical monitoring, safety management, and ethical and regulatory requirements. He also acts as mentor to medical students at CVD-Mali.
